I'Lanta M. Robbins     |      Principal 

Attorney Robbins was born and raised in the community. She graduated from Michigan State University-James Madison College in 1999 with a B.S. in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy. She obtained her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law in 2002. After receiving her law degree, Attorney Robbins became the first Legal Advisory Assistant for Genesee County 7th Circuit Court Family Law Judge John A. Gadola.

In 2004 she became Assistant Attorney for the City of Flint.  She practiced civil defense litigation and served as Prosecuting Attorney in 68th district court. She served as General Counsel and legal advisor to the City Flint Retirement System Board of Trustees and advised City Council  and various departments. Attorney Robbins served as Assistant City Attorney until she opened her practice in 2012.

Attorney Robbins is also the managing partner of Attorneys for Indigent Defense, PPLC, a law firm that provides defense of indigent mother's in child neglect and abuse proceedings.

​

Attorney Robbins is a member of the Federal Court Eastern District of Michigan, Michigan Court of Appeals, Genesee County Bar Association, Mallory, Scott, VanDyne Bar Association, and the North Carolina State Bar. 

​

Attorney Robbins continues to serve the Flint community through city outreach and mentoring programs.
